Summerland Trails is located 25 kms North of Grafton on the Summerland way, a pleasant 50 min drive South-west of Yamba. Easy to follow directions can be sent to your moblie via sms on booking.
Trailrides start from one & a half hours, through to overnight camping trips. Family groups are well catered for, with very quiet horses available to suit the most nervous beginners. There are also more advanced (but still safe & sensible) horses available for the more experienced rider. Swimming with the horses is also available in the warmer months with trailrides. Booking are essential for all rides. Phone Narelle on (02) 6644 7866 or Moblie 0429805100

The overnight camping rides start at lunchtime, where lunch is provided on arrival, and then we set out on the horses, riding on 2000acres of bushland, stopping along the way for afternoon tea & perhaps a quick swim, then arriving at the campsite, where all the gear will be set up and a campoven dinner will be underway. After dinner its Damper & Billy Tea. Wake up to the sounds of nature & a cooked breakfast, then back on the trail, stopping for morning tea & then arriving back at homestead for lunch. Longer camping trips can be arranged.
Group and private lessons are available for adults and children. We have a full size sand arena for the lessons. Lessons are available each school term. Children attending Grafton schools are able to catch a school bus out after school for their lessons. There are some weekend lesson times available also.

Children’s horseriding holidays are run every school holidays. Most camps go for 5 days 5 nights. The camps are for children aged 8-14yrs, (other ages may be possible by prior arrangement) At the camps the children go out on trail rides, have lessons and riding games in the arena, and have a small gymkhana on the last day to show there new skills to there families. Camps are limited to 10 children at a time, so early booking is advisable to avoid disappointment. Children don’t need to have had any riding experience to attend a camp; however it is also suitable for the experienced child rider.
As we have 2000acres to explore, there is never any road riding at Summerland Trails.
